Individual Counselling

Personalized Support for Your Sexual Wellbeing

If sex has started to feel confusing, painful, distant, shame-filled, or simply unlike yourself, you don't have to navigate that alone.

You deserve to feel connected, confident, and at ease in your sexual self. Whether you’re navigating changes in desire, healing from past experiences, or wanting to strengthen your relationship with your body, this work invites you to explore your inner landscape with curiosity and care. Individual sessions offer a confidential, supportive space to explore what intimacy, pleasure, and healing can look like for you, all at your own pace, and with compassion at the centre.

What is Sex Counselling?

Sex counselling is a collaborative process that helps you to explore your sexual concerns, challenges, and questions in a safe and nonjudgmental space.

Sex counselling focuses on facilitating self-knowledge, emotional acceptance and growth. In our sessions, we will work towards developing your personal resources through education, emotional regulation, reflection, and skills-building. You can expect a respectful, trauma-informed environment where curiosity is welcomed, goals are set collaboratively, and you can move at a pace that feels right for you.

Sexual well-being is inherently interdisciplinary, meaning it is shaped by our bodies, minds, relationships, and social worlds. For this reason, our sex counselling work draws from knowledge in psychology, medicine, sociology, and sexual health to support you as a whole person.

Why work with me?

I know talking about sex can feel vulnerable. My priority is to create a space where you feel emotionally safe, respected, and free from judgment. My approach is collaborative, non-pathologizing, evidence-based, and grounded in compassion and curiosity. Whatever we may be exploring, we'll move at a pace that feels right for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect in our first session?

Our first session is an opportunity for you to share what’s bringing you in and what you hope to get out of this work. We’ll go at your pace, and you can feel safe in knowing you only need to share to your level of comfort. I’ll ask gentle questions to understand your goals, background, and comfort level, and we’ll decide together on next steps.
From there, I will do a biopsychosocial assessment to get a holistic view of your sexual concerns, which may continue into a second session. This involves answering questions about your sexual health, history and current concerns; there will never be physical touch or direct contact in sex counselling.
